A customer messaging platform for a leading cable provider

Assignment

NCTC (National Cable Television Cooperative), a membership organization of over 800 TV networks, required a robust and user-friendly platform to manage disputes with TV production companies, such as Disney and Fox. The goal was to create a website platform that allowed each member organization to self-manage their own dispute management websites, keeping their customers informed during disputes, increasing customer retention, preventing cancellations, and serving a crucial PR role for the networks.

Approach

We began the project by thoroughly understanding NCTC's needs and requirements, as well as the complexities of the dispute management process. Based on these insights, we designed a custom Laravel-based platform that would effectively address the challenges faced by NCTC's member organizations.

The platform's UI/UX design focused on providing a seamless experience for both the network members and their end customers. We ensured that the dispute management websites were easy to navigate and visually appealing, while also providing relevant and timely information to customers.

Implementation

Over the course of six months, our team collaborated closely with a large internal team at NCTC to develop the website platform. We built a scalable and secure platform that could handle large amounts of customer and TV show data, allowing each member organization to effectively manage their dispute management websites.

Throughout the development process, we maintained open communication with NCTC's team, addressing any concerns, incorporating feedback, and ensuring that the platform met their expectations and requirements.

Outcome

The result was a comprehensive dispute management platform that empowered NCTC's member organizations to effectively manage and communicate disputes with TV production companies. The platform not only kept end customers informed during times of dispute but also helped increase membership retention, prevent cancellations, and served an essential PR role for the networks.

The successful collaboration with NCTC's internal team and the robust, user-friendly platform we built together have greatly improved the dispute management process for their member organizations, ultimately benefiting both the networks and their customers.
